The pneumatic rapping system is an economical, totally automatic and controllable equipment, intended for cleaning of suspended pipes’ bundles in horizontal boiler passes. The self-propelled car, geared with pneumatic cylinders, travels from one strike-point to the other.
The vibrations of pipes’ bundles induced by rapping remove deposits from their surfaces. The air sealing of strike-rods’ guides is part of the system
